We heard from so many of you that Welcome Back Picnic was one of your favorite events–and we totally agree! This year, we’re keeping that same relaxed vibe you love, with just a few thoughtful touches to help everyone connect and kick off the year together! Save the date for September 6, 2025.

Accurate Biometrics will be at the Welcome Back Picnic to do onsite fingerprinting for CPS volunteer status for the 25-26 school year. You must have already begun your application and received your fingerprint paperwork to be fingerprinted. Click here to begin the application

We’re excited to have Burger Bite join us at our Welcome Back Picnic. This is a pre-order only fundraiser (no dine-in). To participate, simply email your order from their menu along with your phone number to 8burgerbite@gmail.com by Wednesday, September 4. Burger Bite will call you directly to process payment, and your order will be delivered fresh to the Welcome Back Picnic on Friday, September 6. 15% of the proceeds will be donated to Decatur Together.
